Team building excursion was conducted for BBA Second semester student to Gangtok. Director, administrative officer and faculty member of J.D.Birla Institute accompanied a group of hundred students to Gangtok. Various games related to team buiding excursion were conducted for the students

National Seminar On Rural Marketing Concluded on 24-25th Feb 2012

The National Seminar was a two day event which was inaugrated and graced by the director J.D.Birla Instutute, Department of Management,there were delegates who participated in the event both from academic and Industry. Chief guest of the event was union cabinet minister of railways Shri Dinesh Trivedi.Where valedictory speech was provided by Mr. Harsh Neotia, Chairman, Ambuja Realty Pvt. Ltd.The event was graced by Shri Madan Mitra Honble Minister of state transport and sports,followed by Shri Sultan ahmed Honble Union Minister of State,Tourism.Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University Professor Dr. Pradip Narayan Ghosh addressed the event,where concluding remarks provided by the Director Dr. Asit Datta,J.D.Birla Institute and the vote of thanks was provided by Mr. Saugat Upadhaya

Annual day talent contest and prize distribution 9th December 2011

The Annual day talent contest and prize distribution was jointly held by birla school of management and J.D Birla Institute ,Department of Management at Vidya mandir auditorium on 9th Dec 2011. The Annual day talent contest and prize distribution was inaugrated by Chief guest and Principal Commercial Officer Richard R. Craig and Miss Rita Bibra ,Chief Administrator and Secretary General Vidya Mandir Society. The students of J.D.Birla Institute and Birla school of management participated in various events held in the annual day celebration. The student of J.D.Birla Institute ,Department of management were awarded for participating and winning in various events held during the sports day celebration on 17th November 2011.Student were awarded for the best academic performances,attendence and for the best all round performance in a given semester and year.

L.N. Birla Debate 2010
The LN Birla Inter-Institutional Debate was instituted in 1994. It now seeks to revive and revitalize the art of debating on a national scale among our youth.

The J.D. Birla Institute (Department of Management) and Calcutta Club hosted the biggest Quiz in Country hugely popular as The EMTA JDBI- Calcutta Club Corporate Management Quiz 2010 in association with EMTA is our title sponsor.The Telegraph and REDFM have also come aboard as our Associate and Media Partner on September 25, 2010. 200 corporates registered for the program and more than 100 sponsors supported this event.
